After a 16-year absence, Captain EO returned to EPCOT on Friday, July 2, 2010! Captain EO was the featured 3-D film at the Journey Into Imagination pavilion at Epcot from September 12, 1986-July 6, 1994. The popular movie was brought back to EPCOT on July 2, 2010, after Michael Jackson’s untimely death in 2009. The show closed permanently in 2015 but lives on in the hearts and minds of all those who just can’t get that song out of their heads! We are here to change the world!
No matter if you experienced the film hundreds of times or only once, it is worth another look. Have fun, relieve the past, and relive the 1980s as you experience Captain EO and his ragtag crew Hooter, Major and Minor Domo, Idy and Ody, and Fuzzball.
